Bar-headed goose lives in alkaline lake in the cold desert area. It has a white head top and 2 black strips on the back of its head. It mainly lives in Eurasia continent, North Africa, subcontinent of India, Southwest China, Middle South Peninsular and southeast coastal area of China. The birds mate in water, and lay eggs in the middle of Apr. Normally, a female bird lays 4~8 eggs and needs 29 days for sitting. The bird mainly lives on stems and leaves of plants, flowers and ear of grains, and may also feeds on soft animals in water.
