Silver pheasant can be seen in South China. It stays in various trees from mountain foot to the height of 1500m above sea level. Its eating habit is complicated, but it mainly lives on plants, and may also feed on insects. Normally, the bird needs 1 year for growing up. It multiplies in spring and is not listed as an animal under national class II protection.
