Swan goose can be found in northeast of Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang Valley as well as Mongolia and Siberia. It is the ancestor of the domesticated goose in China, and may sometimes mix up with the domesticated geese. It usually stays in lakes and marshes in the daytime and looks for foods in the night.
