 Little swan can be found in Northeast China, Inner Mongolia, North of Xinjiang and North China. It migrates to the south for winter. It is occasionally found in Taiwan. It usually lives in lakes, reservoirs and ponds where there are reeds. It mainly lives on water plants and seeds and may also feeds on insects, worms, shellfishes and small fishes. Normally, a female bird lays 5~7 eggs, and needs 29_30 days for sitting.
