Emu is the biggest bird in Australia, and is a symbol of Australia. It spreads all over Oceania, and lives on grassland, in forest and desert. It is good at running, but cannot fly. It lives on grass, seeds, fruits, insects, lizard and other small animals. An emu needs 3 years for growing up, and lays eggs during the period from Nov. to Apr. Normally, emu lays 7~15 eggs.
