Muntjac can be found in south and southwest of China. It lives in valleys, on the edges of trees and in shrubs or in grass. It is a timid animal, and lives on grass, tree leaves, tender sprouts, etc. Normally, muntjac mates in winter, and get pregnant for 6.5~7 months. It usually gives birth to 1~2 babies. Life span: 15 years.
